Mission of Lancaster Bible College-Capital Seminary & Graduate School

“Our focus is on your journey to fulfill God’s purpose for your life. Our mission has remained constant since 1933: To educate Christian students to think and live a biblical worldview and to proclaim Christ by serving Him in the Church and society.”

Why Choose a Lancaster Bible College for Your Education? Here’s Why.

Your college years are some of the most formative years of your life – why not use them to discover who God is calling you to become? Since 1933, Lancaster Bible College has provided Christian students a nurturing and safe environment to grow academically, spiritually and personally on our beautiful campus in Central Pennsylvania. Our graduates go on to do great things in the church and society, like working at Fortune 100 companies or government agencies, starting their own businesses or ministries, serving as pastors locally or around the world, or going overseas as missionaries. No matter where you end up, your time at LBC will equip you to serve wherever God may call you.

Diversity & Belonging : Lancaster Bible College

You don’t have to read far in the Scriptures to know we were made for community.  The beauty of biblical community is that our oneness in Christ is all the more glorious.

Unity in diversity aligns with biblical vision of God’s kingdom because it comes not at the expense of diversity, but couched in diversity as we see in Revelation 7:9-10 (ESV): “After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice, ‘Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!’”
