Universidad Interamericana de Puerto Rico-Aguadilla Campus

The Aguadilla Campus of the Inter-American University of Puerto Rico began its work as an auxiliary center of the San Germán Campus in 1957, in the former Aguadilla High School. In 1960, the facilities of the university center were relocated and secretarial and commercial administration courses were offered, in addition to the two-year study program to obtain the Normal Teacher Certificate. In 1965 it becomes a Regional College. In 1985 a structural complex was inaugurated in the Calero Sector of Aguadilla and in 1991, through a resolution approved by the Board of Trustees, the College became the Aguadilla Campus. From this moment, the Campus began an upward development, becoming one of the most prestigious university campuses with the greatest contribution to the social, economic and cultural growth of the western area. The Aguadilla Campus offers the student body and the surrounding communities the opportunity to participate in activities that enrich our village life.
